Welcome to the 2012 Armstrong Tennis (and Golf!) Blog, chronicling the Pirates' journey to the 2012 NCAA Division II Spring Sports Festival in Louisville, Ky.
The first Armstrong Tennis blog began in 2008 as the men's and women's tennis teams journeyed to Houston for the Spring Sports Festival and brought home two NCAA Division II National Championships. Four blogs and three more trophies later, the blog is happy to follow Armstrong tennis back to the Festival and also chronicle the journey of Armstrong sophomore women's golfer Jenna Birch, who became the first Pirate to qualify individually for the NCAA DII Women's Golf Championships, which will also be played at the Festival.
